Strength in Service: 7,000 Pounds Packed Together

Our Panaro Group team had the opportunity to volunteer with Feeding America yesterday, and it was a great reminder of how impactful a few hours can be when you come together as a team. We spent the morning packing boxes of healthy food for individuals and families in need. In just a short time, our team packed over 7,000 pounds of food, helping provide meals for more than 6,000 people in our community.

Giving back is something we care deeply about, and it was meaningful to step away from our day-to-day work and contribute in a hands-on way.

Feeding America is the largest hunger‑relief organization in the United States, working through a nationwide network of more than 200 food banks and tens of thousands of local food pantries and meal programs to help ensure people have consistent access to nutritious food. Their mission is simple but powerful: to help individuals and families get the resources they need to thrive while working toward a future where no one in America goes hungry.

Each year, this network distributes billions of meals and advocates for long‑term solutions to food insecurity, making them a vital support system for communities across the country. We’ve had the opportunity to volunteer with Feeding America several times, and every experience reinforces how impactful their work is and how fulfilling it feels to contribute to their mission.

We wrapped up the day with lunch and a little friendly competition at Dave & Buster's, which made it even more fun to spend time together outside the office.

Volunteering is always a team favorite, and this day was no exception. It gave us a chance to step outside our routines, do something meaningful together, and reconnect as a team in a way that only shared service can.
